The International exhibition Save the Planet combines thematically the sectors of waste management and recycling, treatment and water purification, air and soil preservation. Climate changes and commitments of Bulgaria to the EU in environment sector issues require infrastructure reconstruction and market liberalization. The aim of the exhibition is to stimulate investments in the sector by presenting the most advanced concepts and technologies.
The exhibition will be held from 13 to 15 April 2011 in Inter Expo Center, Sofia parallel to the international Eco Conference and the traditional Forum on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. Simultaneous implementation of the three events will attract many specialists and experts from Western Europe, the Balkans and Bulgaria.

The exhibition visitors received information about the various systems of wastewater treatment; technology and equipment for waste treatment: composting, sorting and disposal, recycling; environmental services; technologies for remediation of contaminated soil, etc.
12 companies presented their activity at the Dutch pavilion, organized in partnership with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bulgaria.
